Verizon Announces February 1st Availability of Samsungs SCH-A890

Samsung Telecommunications America and the nation's leading wireless service provider Verizon Wireless have announced that the Samsung SCH-a890 will be available February 1. This will be the first wireless handset from Samsung for Verizon Wireless' VCAST service -- the nation's first 3G wireless multimedia service. The innovative a890 will allow consumers to access a variety of VCAST applications, including Video on Demand (VOD), designed to inform and entertain wireless customers. The clamshell dual-band CDMA "SCH-A890" camera phone features a 260,000-color capable main display, a rotating 1.3megapixel camera with flash, dynamic 3-D user interface, Voice recording capability and Internet browsing. Measures 8.9cm. The Samsung a890 is available to Verizon Wireless customers for $249.99 after $70 rebate with a two-year customer agreement.
