simple parking solution using RFID

CellPhones

TransPortTrends points the Parkmobile parking solution that uses RFID transponder cards to allow drivers to pay for their parking via cellphone. The system features a visible barcode that is tied to the car registration and the driver's mobile phone number. The payment method is chosen by the account holder to either withdraw the charge from a credit/debit form, which can be viewed online, or an itemized invoice. Car park attendants read the transponder card using a handheld wireless device, which validates the parking using a GPRS link to a central database, and the amount of the ticket is then issued. - more - thanks creaza
