Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd (Panasonic) has announced 3 models of a new IC recorder with speech recognition and speech synthesis software - RR-US090-H, RR-US070-S, RR-US050-S. The new recorders will be released February 15th in Japan. The "RR-US090-H" is expected to cost 30,000 Yen, the "RR-US070-S" 25,000 Yen and the "RR-US050-S" 20,000 Yen.

The RR-US090-H features a 33 hour recording time in SP mode, RR-US070-S approximately 16 hour 40 minutes and the RR-US050-S approximately 8 hour 10 minutes. .

Other features include, USB interface, can convert Japanese/English sound with the audio recognitive function software, supports play back on PC with speech synthesis function, supports transfer from PC to IC recorder and supports back up voice data on CD. 13 hours/ playback and 17 hours sound recording (SP mode)

Measures 32.5x15.9x118.8mm and weighs 65g (RR-US090-H ,RR-US070-S) - 61G (RR-US050-S) .
