Garmin iQue 3600a GPS Palm

Garmin International Inc. has announced the iQue 3600a, a Palm Powered aviation device that allows for out of the box use. The iQue 3600a package includes a Patent-pending aviation cradle mount with dedicated Direct To, Nearest, Menu, Escape, Enter and directional rocker buttons, Detailed Sectional chart-style overview, Jeppesen, terrain and US obstacles databases and "Terrain" mode which offers TAWS-like warnings and "pop-up" alerts when proximity conflicts loom ahead. The iQue 3600a features the Palm OS Garnet, including a complete suite of personal information management (PIM) applications, voice recorder, MP3 player and Secure Digital slot for memory expansion, optional MapSource CD downloads and user-selectable formats enable the iQue 3600a to move seamlessly from plane to automobile.
