1bit portable MD player - Sharp Auvi MD-DS33

Sharp JP has announced the "Auvi MD-DS33" portable MD player with built-in 1 bit mobile digital amplifier. The Auvi MD-DS33 will be released in Japan on January 20th 2005. Price is expected to be around 18,800 Yen (182 USD) . The new player features a silver base and 3 color options silver (-S), blue (-A),or pink (-P). The player adopts the "smart push system" for easy removal of the MD. Measures 75.1x84.6x15.6mm and weighs 92g (including charge unit). Battery life -- when the nickel hydrogen charge unit is combined with 3 electric batteries 153 hours play back possible -- (55 hours without the batteries).
