Elecom has announced the "PLEO-1" music CD recorder. The Pleo-1 is a small standalone CD recorder designed to backup data CDs and record audio CDs.

The unit can also act a CD player using the units two 30mm full-range stereo speakers (500mW output), so you can burn and test on the say device.

HOW TO - 1) insert an original music/data CD, 2) insert a blank music/data CD for recording and 3) press the desired button to set the recording speed and commence recording. The recorder conforms to the SCMS (Serial Copy Management System) standard so you can basically burn as much as you want.


the "PLEO-1" music CD recorder will be available from mid November at a price of about 25,200 yen
