The "Hollywood" chip

Texas Instruments has announced plans to offer the first cell phone capable of receiving high definition TV broadcast signals.

The "Hollywood" chip will capture digital signals and let you watch live TV broadcasts. The Hollywood is expected to have samples in 2006 with mass marketing in 2007 by that time you will probably be able to get XM & Sirius on your phone as well. -
