Panasonic has a new portable MiniDisc recorder with integrated microphone and speaker -- "SJ-MR50" and to top that according to Panasonic the SJ-MR50 is like the world's smallest and lightest MiniDisc recorder.

The MD recorder measures 80.9mm x 23.4mm x 88.3mm and weighs 115g without battery. Recording functions include a VOS (Voice Operation System) so when you space out and totally forget what you are talking about the player will stop, when the lapse passes and you start to talk again, recording will start.
Other features include anti-skip shock protection , S-XBS bass circuitry and "TRAIN mode"

40 hrs for headphone playback, 11 hours for speaker playback and 19 hours for internal microphone recording. The "SJ-MR50" portable MD recorder will be available from November 25 - 32,000 yen
