September 14, 2004 Fujitsu Service Robot Gadgets Fujitsu Service Robot Fujitsu has announced their joint development of a service robot, expected to be on sale June 2005. The robot is designed to accommodate guest at museums, shopping malls, and office buildings, etc., providing such services as greeting and escorting guests onto elevators, operating the elevators, moving parcels using a cart, and security patrolling of buildings at night.
